Bubblestand
Bubblestand is the first segment of the second episode, and to some considered to be the series pilot. The episode begins with a bored Spongebob Squarepants building and opening a bubble stand, his version of a road side stand. He disturbs an already annoyed Squidward Tentacles who is trying to play his clarinet. He is quieter for a moment, but becomes loud again. Patrick Star walks up to the stand and gets a quarter from Spongebob to get to blow bubbles. He can't blow a bubble so Spongebob gives him lessons. Squidward walks out to see what all the noise is about and finds out about the bubble stand which he hurts Spongebob and Patrick by saying that it was a terrible idea for a bubble stand thus making them leave. He picks up the bubble wand, but Spongebob and Patrick catch him and make him pay. He, like Patrick, can't blow a bubble so Spongebob shows him the technique. Squidward blows a huge bubble and returns home. Finally, the bubble encases Squidward's House and lifts it far away, but it hits the ground hard causing Squidward to play a sad song to end the episode.
