Good Neighbors is a Spongebob Squarepants episode from season four. The episode begins with Spongebob Squarepants, Patrick Star, and Squidward Tentacles sleeping. Spongebob wakes up Squidward for work one morning, trying to be a good neighbor, but Squidward angrily tells him that it is Sunday and that "a good neighbor doesn't bother me on Sunday". Spongebob believes that Squidward is grouchy because he hasn't gotten his Sunday paper, and tries to give it to him. He bumps into Patrick who is startled by the "newspaper monster". Upon hearing of the monster, Spongebob and Patrick start to panic as they scatter the paper into the air as they run around. Squidward begins his Sunday relaxation, when Spongebob and Patrick suddenly appear behind him wearing cultist-style fezzes and attempt to swear him in as president of the "Secret Royal Order of the Good Neighbor Lodge", which Spongebob and Patrick have just made up. Squidward tells Spongebob and Patrick to paint all of the tree leaves around town with polka dots to get rid of Spongebob and Patrick. Outside, Spongebob absorbs a can of red paint, Patrick pulls his arm like a lever, causing him to shoot red specks of paint onto all the tress. At noon, Spongebob and Patrick return to Squidward to tell him that they are almost done with their task. Suddenly, Patrick sprays Squidward with the paints causing him to go blind. He almost is ran over when he goes outside. The driver and passenger of the car think Squidward is sick and take him to a hospital. Then, Spongebob calls together a meeting for the Good Neighbor Lodge. When he takes role call, he notices that Squidward hasn't returned from his trip. Afterwards, Squidward's mussuse arrives to give him his four o clock massage. Just then, Squidward arrives to find Spongebob and Patrick getting massages. After moving them aside, Squidward demands a massage, only to find that his hour is up. Next, Squidward angrily kicks Spongebob and Patrick out of his house telling them that they were the worst neighbors ever. Squidward finds an ad in the Sunday newspaper for a security system. He purchases the system, has it freely installed, and tests it when Spongebob and Patrick enter the room with an apology cake. The system detects no threat in Spongebob and Patrick, but instead fires a laser at Squidward who scolds the machine for not firing at Spongebob and Patrick. When Squidward hits the ground, Spongebob's apology cake goes flying into the air and land on the system. The system goes a-wall shooting flashing lights and eventually taking over Squidward's House. Squidward's house grows arms and legs; then, kicks Squidward several feet. Squidwards house then dissembles Bikini Bottom. Luckily, Spongebob finds the off switch and the house lands where it began. Squidward once again kicks Spongebob and Patrick out of his house, only to find that cops and citizens have surrounded his house. The mayor assigns Spongebob, Patrick, Squidward community service to pay for damage to Bikini Bottom to end the episode.
Spongebob: "Gee, Patrick. You think Squidward was trying to tell us something?"

Spongebob: "Gee, Patrick. Maybe President Squidward is right."
Patrick: "Yeah, I guess we're not good neighbors after all."
Squidward: "NO your aren't! Your horrible neighbors and stop calling me president!"
